I've been lucky to train with some very exceptional athletes over the years, and my friend Aaron Royle is no exception. He recently finished 6th in the Rio Olympic Test event and in the process ensured his place on the start line next year at the Olympics. After a difficult start to the season I think he knew that Rio favoured his abilities, and he had the confidence he would be ready to meet the demands of competition. Here's his report on the event.
